We were served K-coffee during the presentation and then taken on a tour of the office and K-Cafe. KPMG promotes the KPMG Way and follows an integrated set of core values. Voted by business students as one of the top international companies to work for, it is easy to understand why. The website said they offer great benefits, fantastic career prospects, international opportunities, and investment in employee learning and development. My first impression of the offices, staff, and what I learned while there would support this claim. It would be difficult to find fault with an organization who offers personal massage services and chairs for those who need relaxation and an on-site cafe with healthy choices when you need or want something to eat. We were also shown a classroom which is used for continued education. KPMG also is said to push back the desks and offer belly dancing and yoga classes on-site for employees. Compared to the accounting firm I worked for in the U.S., I would say KPMG Taiwan offers more innovative benefits to care for staff.
